The Ode of Remembrance

The Last Post

The Last Post is played before the period of silence at Remembrance Day and other commemorative services.

The Rouse is played after the period of silence at commemorative services (except ANZAC Day Dawn Services).

To help you commemorate appropriately, we've provided downloadable social media graphics and suggested captions that can be used across Facebook, Instagram and other platforms.

Draw to Remember is a free educational program that helps primary school students learn about Remembrance Day through veteran-led presentations and creative art activities. Schools can access resources, lesson materials and support to help students commemorate Remembrance Day in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
